Pet peeves
I can't stand:

People who say "nucular" and "preversion" -- it might be good enough for the president, but it's not good enough for me.

People who write "masterbation" -- if you are old enough to do it, you are old enough to know how to spell it.

People who use "l33t-speak" -- "d00de, that's just not c00l".

People who use icq-speak like "u", "NEway", "luv" and so on -- I don't care what it sounds like to you, but I'm not going to interact with a person who uses that, no matter how attractive they might have been to me prior to that.

People who confuse "its" and "it's" and "your" and "you are" despite years of public schooling -- it's really not that hard, no matter how stupid you are, so get that through your tiny brain while it has some of its wits left.

People who always use "myself" instead of "me" and "yourself" instead of "you" -- if someone tells me to "hand something to myself" I feel like thwapping them with whatever it is I'm supposed to be handing them.

People who sound as irritable and cranky as I do in this post.
